What is Shadowtap?

Shadowtap is a minimalistic, tile-based mobile game that challenges players to navigate through a dungeon. Your objective is to descend through multiple levels by engaging in battles with enemies, using potions for survival, and finding keys to unlock the path to the next level. Each level presents new challenges and dangers. Can you make it to the bottom of the dungeon and emerge victorious?

HELP

 Tap the tiles adjacent to the wizard to move.
 Grab the key on each level and then open the door to go further into the dungeon. Enemies revive after picking up the key.
 Enemies will do damage based on the red number in the top left of the tile.
 Tiles with a cross will heal you.
Red potions remove shadows from the rows, blue potitons handle columns, and green potions do both.

Good luck and try to get to the bottom of the dungeon!

Small suggested improvement: I would rephrase the tutorial such that the potions REVEAL the rows and column, rather than "remove the shadows". I first thought the potions would kill the ghosts.

Besides that great game and nice you build a mobile game. Great name of the game as well!

Thank you so much for the recommendation. I was just trying to say "shadows" because that was the theme for the jam, but reveal does make more sense.

yea that makes sense. We did a similar thing in our submission: we had 'Shadow Steering' which was just switching up your left and right controls ;)
